samsung cxd2514 repeat Q401 failure

Q401 has been replaced with a possible wrong sub I had no info to find original part. The sub. lasted about 1 week. It didn't get hot after testing several hours.

what does Q401 do. if it is horizontal output then you may have a power supply fault which is making transistor fail. check b+ to see if its ok. it might be worth contacting Samsung on the net to find your closest destributer of spares and circuits if you dont already have it.

Be sure the horizonal driver transformer is soldered down good and replace the 1 to 4.7uf 160 v capacitor that resonates the transformer.::David::
