dvd to tape |
Message |
| i am trying to record dvd movies on to tape. i need to record clips of movies that are on dvd to a video cassette for my school presentation tomorrow. i connected the dvd player to the vcr's input but the picture came out messed up most likely because of the copy write protection. what i would like to know is is there a way around the copy write protection and be able to record dvd movies onto vcr. |

Hi
Your right the dvd will be copyright protected meaning that you will not be able to copy and information onto tape. There are devices out there that can eliminate the protection problem but you haveno chance of getting them b4 tomorrow. Sorry about that. |

| i was thinkin there could be some kinda setup to eliminate the dvd protection. going straight the vcr wont work but if the dvd player just plays not thro the vcr, it could be done. there should be a set up out there that should work. i tried using my playstation 2 and making the dvd play on channel 3 and then recording the channel 3 with the vcr but it came out very fuzzy for some reason, dunno why. |

| hi, I record always from DVD with never having any problems, try using an AV receiver connecting all components through it, then your vcr should record whatever signal source you have chosen including DVD |
