Magnet near the Sceen - now discoloration |
Message |
| My child recently placed a strong magnet near the sceen of my Sanyo television. Now I have discolored 'spots' on the screen and I am unable to get rid of them. Is there any way to correct this problem? Thanks for your help. |

| I found that running a hair dryer or a drill in front of the screen in a circular motion helps in moving the spots or removing them altogether. I too have a 27" sanyo that is overly sensitive to magnets, power chords, big chunks of metal, etc.... It takes practice - sometimes you make new spots in new paces, but its curable. Some sanyo's won't degauss even if you power cycle them a bunch of times..... |
