| Audio is fine, but the screen goes from a picture to black repeatidly. This occurs on both videos. (a/v and rf)

| hi not familiar with that model number, but nearly all sonys i see suffer from dry joints.
try tapping the top of tv set to see if you can induce fault or even put fault right, if it is tappy then it will be a dry joint..... |

| I have a KV-32S15 with the identical problem...I tried tapping the top of the tv but it still does it...Does anyone else have any suggestions...Thanks |

| You guys both have bad Picture Tubes. You may try turning up the screen control on the flyback
just a slight movement clockwise. Sometimes this may stop it or slow it down somewhat going into bias cutoff. This is a serious problem with some Sony's. If you have a good CRT Rejuvanator
sometimes you can run the heater circuit of the tube at about 7.5 volts for about 20 minutes and
for some reason or another this may cure the problem::David:: |

| Scott, always use well insulated screw drivers when adjusting anything on TV chassis. I've never
been schocked adjusting the screen control on these Sonys. ::David:: |
