| If you`re sure that`s the problem, It`s easy. 3 solder joints on the transistor legs, 1 screw holding the device to the heatsink. you MUST use heatsink grease before mounting to heatsink or it will overheat and die again. |

| may not be shorted base to emitter may just ck shorted in circuit |
