Zenith 27" Model SR2568S...Collapsed picture.

Message

I have a 27" Zenith, Model # SR2568S.  The picture has collapsed into a 5" strip in the center of the screen.  I have heard that this is an easy fix.  What I want to know is,  is this a costly procedure, if the parts have to be replaced.  Thank You.

I have the exact same TV (Zenith #SR2568S - 1995) and the exact the same problem with the pictures being compressed right in the middle.  If I hit the tv, sometimes it goes back to normal but would just bounce back again.  I've been hearing that the IC2100 might be having some problems.. please advise, thank you!!!
