Samsung TXJ 2766 Fuzzy Picture

Message

With picture set at normal brightness and contrast picture is very fuzzy. Lacks focus. If I go to "Custom" setting and reduce brightness and contrast, picture is sharp and in focus, but not bright enough to enjoy.

For many years I had a Zenith service center (now retired) and at that time I would have looked at high voltage regulation as the problem.  Any help would be appreciated.  Also, a schematic for this model would be very helpful.  I have not attempted troubleshooting this set yet.

Many thanks for any help.

well ron it looks like you may have a bad tube, but you should adjust your focus on the flyback and check for bad caps,  carl
