the fuse on my tv keeps blowing.

Message

I have a Daewoo TV, model #dtq27s2fcv, that would not turn on, so I replaced the fuse (5amp 125volt), and it blew out immediately.  Thank you for any help!

Check the posistor, the little black (usually) box shaped thing usually located near the on/off switch or where the wires from the switch connect to the PCB. This device applies mains voltage to the `auto degauss` winding on the pic tube momentarily at switch on and if s/c will do what you say.--RADAR
